Our studio
Why “Faith Renewal”?
Not an office — a writing desk, a stack of journals, and a name that tells a true story.
-
The cross at the center
Every story written here starts and ends there — faith isn't a backdrop in these books, it's the heart of them.
-
New blossoms, growing around it
After seasons of caring for her parents, and the season of losing them, writing is what grew back. Renewal isn't a slogan on this desk — it's what happened at it.
-
A hand-lettered name
Because everything here begins by hand, in journals Judy has kept for most of her life.
From journals to printed pages
How stories grow here
For decades, Judy's stories lived in handwritten journals — filled between Sunday school lessons, church plays, puppet shows, and nursing shifts. After her parents passed, those journals became serious writing, and the writing became her lifelong dream fulfilled: published books.
Today the studio is simply Judy's desk at home. Stories are written here, prayed over here, and sent out from here — to families, churches, and classrooms across the country.
Psalm 51 : 10
Renew a right spirit within me
“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”
